Review of United 93 (2006) by Johnny C — 16 May 2010
Like others on television and in Hollywood, the film United 93 helped our grieving process as a whole. A film that had to be made in memorial to honor our fallen patriots and help us realize the sadness of the day but the beauty in the heroism showed on United 93.
It is an incredibly deep film and probably the most genuine one surrounding the terrible events. It was very tough to watch, but I felt obligated. I felt as if I were the people portrayed in this film. The directing was some of the best stuff I've seen. I'm glad that there weren't any major actors cast for the roles because it made it more genuine and realistic. The silent ending had me really choked up and crying. This movie definitely has a place inside of me. It perfectly portrayed one of the most influential events of a global history. Please see this film.
