Review of United 93 (2006) by Sumit S — 17 Feb 2013
Everyone knew how this movie was going to end but what director Paul Greengrass did in between the opening & closing credits is what makes United 93 worth a watch or two. Featuring an unknown cast, thus making the whole drama plausible, crafted in great detail & retelling the horror event with unflinching accuracy, United 93 is the story about the fourth hijacked plane on the doomed September 11 morning that didn't reach its target & after collecting the accounts from the victims' families tries to re-create the events when passengers on-board the plane put up a fight for their life.
Overall, United 93 treats this sensitive matter with utmost respect & is an unflinching, gut-wrenching cinema dedicated to all those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001.
