Whilst the film lacks the emotional resonance of the TV movie Flight 93, Paul Greengrass deals with the tragic events of 9/11 in a sobering and respectful manner. His assured direction creates an unrivalled sense of authenticity, andfor the most part he avoids over-dramatisation, giving in only on a few horrendous but salvageable occasions.
it is wonderful to see the cast rise to the occasion, honouring those who showed us all that in terrible circumstances, good people rise to remarkable levels of bravery.
