Review of United 93 (2006) by Dominic S — 13 Mar 2011
What a film that speaks so much for what happened on that tragic day in Manhattan. Even though I'm not sure what really happened in the plane that crashed in the field in Shanksville, PA, the respectively made up story of what may have happened seemed well thought out. I for one did not know that the terrorists were planning to also crash into the Capitol building that day. The hijacker posted a picture of it on the steering wheel.
We all know what was going to happen at the end, but what truly matters is what is said on the movie poster cover. "40 ordinary people sat down as strangers and stood up as one.".
Like everybody else says, this was a great film, but tough to watch. The "nobody" actors made it seem more convincing than a buck of "somebody" actors would have.
United 93, I give you an 80%.
