Review of Unfriended (2014) by Gillian M — 07 Sep 2015

I thought that Unfriended was a pretty clever film and I liked that it attempted to try something different.

I think it was quite a successful gimmick and it was certainly a good aid to the tension. I felt like I was part of their ongoing conversations and a voyeur to their fates, this really added to the scare factor.

I was creeped out by this film, enough to hold on to hubby's hand VERY tightly but I wasn't terrified (no hiding my eyes).

I did slightly find myself egging on the antagonist of the film because the characters weren't exactly the most likable of people and they kind of deserved what happens to them, to a point.

I thought the gore and suspense were very well done.

Very enjoyable if you can get past how it was filmed.
