Review of Unfriended (2014) by Moviemitch96 — 20 Apr 2015

Being a huge sucker for found-footage movies, of course I was gonna check this one out, given its unique concept of the whole thing taking place on a laptop screen. And while I wouldn't call it scary by any means, it definitely was unique just like I'd hoped.

I really enjoyed some of the creative things they came up with in the film during the Skype chats. Too bad the whole point of the film was for it to be scary though, which, like I said, it wasn't really.

But overall, it was just a dumb but somewhat fun film to kill an hour and a half, and also the film's unique concept and some of the clever things and ideas that were in it saved it from being as disappointing as the last horror film I saw (the highly overrated It Follows.

) Personally, I'd go see this film again over that any day.
