Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Jay M — 28 Jul 2013

In a small Kansas town; pig farmer "William Munny" gets a visit from a gaudy kid; who is the nephew of a long time ago friend & partner. Told by his uncle that this man "William Munny" is the toughest & meanest out-law around the kid try's to persuade him to go with him to Big Whiskey Wyoming to kill two cowboys for a $1000 gold bounty that they will split if successful. Munny declines the offer at first because his deceased wife had cured him of his out-law lifestyle & feelings; later he changes his mind because he is in desperate need of money; he rides to recruit the help of his old partner "Ned Logan"; they than ride the trail to Wyoming to catch up with the kid.

With news: of the, bounty already, reaching a, lot of, places, a pretentious English-man, known as, "English Bob", & his, biographer come, in hopes, of attaining... After arriving in town: they run, a foul, with the, Satanic sheriff, "little Bill Daggett", & his, deputies who, quickly put, a KO, to, English Bob's, plan of, killing the, cowboys &, obtaining the, gold reward.

This movie has well written drama that explores the dark side of an outlaw's lifestyle, as well as the dark frontier times of the western side of the United States Of America; how the need of money can turn a man back to his villainous ways. The seats & filming locations of this movie: All top notch & Clint Eastwood did a top notch job both as the director, & the lead character of the film. The supporting cast of characters were all well written & executed by the actors that acted them, & the plotting of the film all comes together at the climax of the movie.

I give the film two thumbs up & would recommend seeing it to someone how is a fan of western films.
