Review of Unforgiven (1992) by Richard H — 28 Nov 2010
I thought was an interesting western and definately one of the unusual films to win the Academy Award for Best Picture. I thought the storyline was pretty good and the cinematography, as usal for a western, was great.
However, I have a couple problems. First, I thought the dialogue was at times stupid and bit beyond simple-minded. Although it varied among characters. Second, I did not like the casting of both Morgan Freeman and Jaimz Woolvett.
I thought these two cast members overacted, I am sorry to say. Other than that, I thought it was a decent western.
