Review of Unforgettable (2017) by Tarloke J — 26 Apr 2017
I really enjoyed this movie. on the outset the premise feels familiar a psycho single white female. however, I wanted to go in with a clear mind and what I found was a really enjoyable thriller.
Katherine Heigl plays Tessa who's little girl she shares custody with her ex who happens next door. Things start to take a turn for the worse when her ex David (played by David Stults) moves his new girlfriend in (rosario dawson).
Tessa soon flips and thats when all hell breaks loose. What appears to be a bout of jealousy is so much more. Tessa has a fairly dysfunctional relationship with her mother which coupled with her other issues (just watch) manifests itself in the most dramatic way.
Katherine and Rosario lead this movie perfectly. while this is a rather camp affair Katherine perfectly plays the most complex individual. you really wonder what she will do next. after all the negative stuff written about her she really deserves a chance to have her star shine even brighter.
