The critics are being a bit hard on this movie... perhaps it wasn't funny enough, it actually was a more serious look at business and the hard times that entrepeneurs go through to make a business click.
... manipulations, false promises, outright lies... it was actually a much more realistic movie and left me with something as opposed to Kingsman, or Focus which were unrealistic fantasies.
