What does one desire when going to see a film? They want passion, they want comedy, and they want heart. Unfinished Business has all of these qualities TIMES TEN.

I came across this film at a time when I was completely lost and life. My girlfriend just broke up with me (fucking BITCH) and both of my parents were kidnapped and killed by alligators at Disney World. Friends seemed like enemies and enemies seemed like friends. I was aimless in the dark tunnel that was my life, until powerhouse actor Vince Vaughn's voice pierced through the blackness and pulled me into the light.

Vaughn portrays Dan Trunkman, who is arguably this generation's Willy Lowman, except way better. He's a struggling business owner who wants to bring home the bacon but at the same time be there for his kids emotionally, an inner conflict that's heartbreaking to watch on screen. Trunkman provides an emotional grounding for the entire story. No matter what's happening in his professional life, family's #1.

Trunkman walks out of his job and is joined by two similarly unlucky business men, Timothy McWinters (Tom Wilkinson), and Mike, get this, Pancake. His last name is PANCAKE. That's a fucking BREAKFAST FOOD. Hilarious! Some may say the opening scene is a rip-off off of Jerry McGuire, but those people can go run in front of a wood chipper. This movie is NOTHING like that piece of shit capitalist filth.

Anyway, the three men embark on a business venture where they get into a lot of wacky scenarios that are gosh darnn hilarious. The most amazing part of this movie, however, is how it never loses its heart, mainly due to Mike Pancake.

Dave Franco steals the show with his vulnerable and endearing performance as the vaguely autistic youngster. He's a shy and sweet kid who's just trying to find his place in the world. I think we all see ourself in Mike Pancake. He reminds us of the fragility we all possess as human beings, while at the same time committing unexplainably stupid acts and delivering hilarious one-liners such as, "The penis touched my face.".

Mike Pancake also brings home the true point of the movie: cyber bullying. Look guys, unlike this movie, cyber bullying is NOT funny. It hurts and it destroys. Mike Pancake eloquently explains how cyber bullying can ruin someone's life and we come out all the better because of it. It's not a joke, and it needs to be eradicated. Fuck you cyber bullying... fuck you.

I don't get all of the negative reviews for this film. I wouldn't even call it a film, it's a process. A process of pain, confusion, and finally, acceptance, with laughter sprinkled all the way through.

CONLCLUSION: Unfinished Business > God, Jesus, Allah or whatever bullshit normie deity you devote your life to.
