Completely brilliant and damn near perfect film by Preston Sturges. One of the most savagely unpredictable films I've ever seen, and bitingly funny as well as disturbing. "Ahead of its time" is an understatement.
Sturges' dialogue is remarkably well written. And the structure plays with your expectations like you wouldn't believe.
