Review of Unfaithful (2009) by Audrey J — 26 Dec 2008
A great movie. The acting is fantastic. You feel terrible for Richard Gere's character as he is obviously madly in love with his wife and gives her any and everything she wants. But her boredom ultimately gets the best of her here. Martinez's and Lane's scenes together were pretty explicit. Like most movies of its kind, the moral is: don't cheat. Ever. Something always, always, always goes terribly wrong.
I took off a star because the version that I watched had an enormous blooper that appeared every other scene or so throughout the ENTIRE film: the sound boom kept bobbing in and out of the top of the screen. I don't know if this happens in other versions because I watched this movie on Youtube. But honestly. That really, really distracted me.
