Review of Undisputed (2002) by Kazim M — 07 Oct 2007
Predictable prison based drama that is unclear about the direction it wants to take. Ving Rhames is a badass world heavyweight champ newly incarcerated for rape (much like Tyson). He creates loads of enemies by being a thoroughly nasty person; the entire film is then a build-up for the final fight with Wesley Snipes who is the prison heavyweight "champ", organised by the mafia.
The saving grace in the film are the well choreographed boxing scene at the end. Disappointing film from the cult director.
