Review of Undisputed (2002) by Tim D — 29 Jun 2009
An okay film, I guess. I really watched it because I thought Ving Rhames was awesome at the time. And I flipped to it a few times on TV recently just to remind myself. Snipes is actually tolerable in this movie, mostly because he just keeps his mouth shut.
And Rhames is alright, I just don't like his character. The MAJOR mark against this film is how it was basically a "what if" story about Mike Tyson. But not really. It is this line where you are constantly reminded about real life events, but then realize that this is fiction.
And that really takes away any credibility the movie has.
