Review of Underworld: Rise of the Lycans (2009) by Jennifer E — 27 May 2012

I loved every minute of it. And the score was very good as well. When the first film came out I hoped they would eventually show the ancient history...and they have. But I can't help but feel like the film seemed short? I was hoping we would get to see the epic battle of the lycans and vampires--the one in Tannis's historical scrolls. and the book kept away. Also in the flash of Sonja from the first film, her hair was blond and she was screaming in agony. Her death scene here seemed a little short and not as pain staking.

It was wonderful to see all other lycans yield with extreme submission to Lucian. It was lovely...to see them running through the moonlit forest.
