Review of Underworld: Evolution (2006) by Skyler I — 26 Jun 2011
Yes the plot can be convoluted and confusing (it's actually makes sense if you don't think about it, but I hardly think that actually counts) but I really don't care because I can't help but respect this film for helping make vampires and werewolves exciting again ( this was before the days of Twilight, just so you know).
The whole thing is just an adrenaline shot of pure, sexy fun. The creature effects are still awesome and the action (does anyone else find themselves uncontrollably turned on when Kate Beckinsale kills ugly creatures in an awesome fashion?) and the acting is actually good.
I also liked how it picked up right where the original left off, avoiding confusion. Also, if there's another movie out there that shows ( I feel I must put emphasis on this word) a the result of being pushed into a rotating helitopter blade, then I've certainly never heard of it.
