Review of Underworld: Blood Wars (2016) by Deborah C — 11 Jan 2017

You should not watch this movie if you have not seen the last 4 movies. It relies heavily on the thought of you seeing those ones, with flash backs of characters and events in those movies who do not show up in this one, as well as continued story arcs that would make very little since other wise.

The Story is decent, after 4 movies it is about what you expect, vampires have been fighting Lycans for centuries and we follow selene an ex death dealer who is blah blah if you dont know this by now, why are you watching the movie? The Store services the film and I enjoyed what they did with Selene and David to advance their story as well as introduce new elements with the introduction of a coven of vampires that are peaceful.

At the end of the day it is a fantasy action movie and when the action is happening it is often quick and pretty fun. There are moments that are really fun and had people in the crowd cheering. Its an enjoyable enough addition to the series, hints at a 6th.

We will see if that happens, but if you are a fan it is worth seeing.
