Review of Underworld: Blood Wars (2016) by Chris F — 18 May 2017

Underworld: Blood Wars is a complete atrocity. Going into this movie, I was expecting just some fun action. I was disappointed. Kate Beckinsale gives it her all, but she can't save this film. Theo James is fine in the film, as is the rest of the supporting cast.

One character really hams it up, and is the only form of life the film has. The film is incredibly dull. There is no life or zest in the film. There is nothing to keep your attention. The film is also completely boring.

I nearly fell asleep watching this film multiple times. The action, when it comes, isn't even exciting. It is generic and poorly edited. There was maybe one cool thing that happened, but that's about it.

The story is generic. It is the same usual stuff from this franchise. Overall, this franchise just needs to die. The film leaves the opportunity open for another film. I hope it never happens.
