Review of Underworld: Blood Wars (2016) by Ryan M — 07 Jun 2017
Here we must ask, what makes a good film? It must be composed of 3 undeniable components: a compeling, immersive plot, compeling acting from the performers, and eye-catching artistic style. I recognize that this film series is not episodic in nature so it relies on the narrative of previous films to survive.
This films has terrible plot, decent acting performance, and beautiful (though the SFX in several places is shabby) artistic style. While it has terrible plot there are things which it must be applauded for; it did not forget its former primary characters but included an adequate resolution for them.
Overall I have to give this film 2 stars for its beauty primarily.
