Review of Underworld: Awakening (2012) by Kèl?S?Tu?Fú Z — 15 Sep 2013

As a rabid Underworld fan, I was experiencing some fan nervousness of this installment when I first heard of its green light. It looked like a parody of the earlier films or a 'best of' compilation of all of the series' best moments.

To my surprise, I was very wrong and pleasantly surprised. It takes a different direction, toning down the poker-faced seriousness of the first film and lets loose a little, allowing the film to have fun and not take itself too seriously.

While, Rise of the Lycans will always be my favorite, this installment follows closely behind.
