Review of Underworld (2003) by Cade H — 03 Jun 2012

Easily one of the better vampire flicks that's really entertaining, and has a likeable star in the lead role.

Kate Beckinsale turns in a star performance as vampire death dealer. The action was great and it has tons of it. It has plenty of gore, like a vampire movie should have, and I never laugh unintentionally at it(**cough**Twilight**cough**). I like the idea of a hybrid also, and that it shows that he's not some unbeatable person just cause he's a hybrid. The ending was satisfying but also left you wanting more;not in a bad way though. Like you wanted a sequel. Definitely an enjoyable popcorn movie that I usually don't ever pass up when it passes by on TV, during a late night at home bored, or when I'm in need of either a vampire/action/thrilling movie.
