Review of Undertow (1930) by Erik S — 28 Apr 2008
I think I might enjoy this movie more upon a second viewing. David Gordon Green has this style that fools you in so many ways. I went into this thinking I would be watching a thriller, but instead got a sort of twisted modern Grimm's fairy tale.
The acting was good (especially from Jamie Bell), the story was intriguing, the message/and or feeling is lost on me for the time being.
