Review of The Hateful Eight (2015) by Erik S — 05 May 2016

The Hateful Eight was one exploding head away from being a great parody of a Tarantino movie. Amazing cast and absolutely beautiful images... unfortunately I feel like the entire movie was centered around Tarantino creating a giant love-letter to "retro" film-making and ultimately ended up being his most self-indulgently expositional and weakest script that I think will feel very boring for people who aren't in love with the process like he is.

I liked it, but it's by far my least favorite of his films and has close to 0 re-watchability... unless you're a film student.
