Review of Undercover Brother (2002) by Dylan C — 02 Jul 2010
Original, thoughtful, and very, very, very funny, Undercover Brother is an excellent comedy. This film went above and beyond my expectations with fresh and legitimate laughs coming at such a fast rate, it's worth watching a second time to catch them all.
The performances are all extremely well acted for a comedy, with all around great performances especially by Eddie Griffen, Dave Chappelle, and Chris Kattan. Some of the jokes you'll see coming and of course, not every joke hits, but I'd say there was a 9:1 ratio of hit/miss jokes.
I strongly enjoyed myself and laughed out loud more times than I can remember. Undercover Brother is a unique, laugh out loud comedy that is definitely worth, at least, one watch.
