Review of Undercover Brother (2002) by Kaylee E — 11 Apr 2012
Eddie Griffin plays a badass secret agent in this cheeky riff on 1970's blaxploitation cinema. This film has a few fans, but I found Undercover Brother to be stilted, tiresome, unfunny, and filled to the brim with obvious "humor".
If one is looking for a quality spoof of Shaft, Superfly, and Dolemite, I'd recommend the much better Black Dynamite.
