Review of Under the Same Moon (2007) by Juan O — 11 May 2008

This heart wrenching movie definitely shows some of the realities that illegal aliens go through. As a citizen of California, I have heard worse stories and I was glad someone made a movie about it because it's a reality that goes on and our society. Hopefully Americans can see how this is not humanitarian so that we can collectively find a solution that will benefit all parties. .. It's funny how how America is based on immigrants, wouldn't you think there would be a stable humanitarian policy by now?

...btw, did anyone else think the music's thematic motive didn't fit the film? ..It had an Italian/ Tuscan feel instead of a Mexican feel. ..It didn't work for me :/ ...If it wasn't for the music, this film would have been perfect to me!
