Review of Under the Same Moon (2007) by Roberto L — 13 Aug 2012
Haters gonna hate, right? Not a great movie? Of course it is. The best one you'll ever see? No. Under the Same Moon features A-list stars from Mexico and they manage to deliver strong performances worthy of an Oscar or Golden Globe nod (Eugenio Derbez).
It may have moment where you think "come on, that can't happen" or "that's impossible and improbable", but that's what movies are! They give the audience the impossible and the improbable to life and make it happen. Well, most films manage to do literally impossible things for a character to pull out, and yet some of those get a nod, now that's incredible.
Under the Same Moon has the same old cliches that I hate from the movies now a days but this one manages to fade them away thanks to it's very likeable cast. ¿No habla español? not to worry just add some english subtitles 'cuase Under the Same Moon WILL deliver.
