Here is another Spanish movie that tells a realistic, moving story, but without graphic sex or violence. This is a tear jerker about a resourceful little man who risks everything to get back to his mother, across the US/Mexico border.
Although the dangers Carlito faces are real, the movie is suitable for the whole family to watch. The self-sacrificing adults who help Carlito along his journey are also refreshing. A great, uplifting movie!
