Review of Under Siege (1992) by Scott E — 19 Dec 2007
Aikido master Steven Seagal stars as a cook, Casey Ryback, who has a history as a Navy SEAL - which is just as well, as the battleship upon which he works gets overrun by terrorists, led by Strannix (Tommy Lee Jones).
Although Seagal's acting isn't particularly special, it's the film as a whole, together with the cast of the villains, that helps it work. Oh, and Seagal kicks ass - what can I say?
