Review of Undead (2003) by Robin D — 10 Dec 2007
A low-budget Australian comedy horror with an out-of-this-world twist. Unlike other zombie films, a meteor storm is responsible for turning residents of the town into the undead. Add some mysterious beams of light sucking things into the sky and 'burning' rain and you've got a new premise for the standard zombie film.
It's low budget but the characters are very cliched with the tough but silent gun-laden hero and the cop who makes it clear he's in charge despite not having a clue. There were some nice scenes in it but it doesn't stand out at all although the triple shotgun is a nice weapon and there are some nice action scenes.
Rent before deciding to buy.
