Review of Uncle Buck (1989) by Eric R — 29 Sep 2008
Lets take a look at director John Hughes he has some pretty funny films. To list some of them The Breakfest Club, Sixteen Candles, and Ferris Bueller's day off. He is a pretty solid filmmaker. So does uncle Buck stand up to my expectations sure does.
I thought this movie was very funny. John Candy made the character work and was just flat out funny!! John Candy plays an out of work bum uncle as he refers to himself in the film. It's up to him to watch his brother's kids becasue they gotta go out of town.
The kids were fun to watch too you just thought these little kids were awsome. I mean I hope mine are just as cool. There is One promblem for Buck the older daughter she just won't stop giving him a hard time.
But other than that there is nothing that uncle buck can't handle. I recommend this film for everybody.
