Review of Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives (2010) by Chase D — 31 Jan 2011
For some, Uncle Boonmee represents a contemplating and original take on life, death and wonderfully atmospheric; for others, it's painfully and punishingly slow paced and entirely plotless. I'm in the former, even though it's impossible or very difficult to understand it's controversial ending.
Christopher Nolan tested our minds with his multi-layered dream take "Inception", Director Weerasethakul invented a new era of cinema, testing the audience to feel the dreamy and different perspective of a human life.
