Review of Uncle Boonmee Who Can Recall His Past Lives (2010) by Grayson D — 19 Apr 2011
This is undoubtably a work of cinematic art which unfortunataly many people will hate. It's incredibly slow moving and reminiscent at times in pacing of the films of the great Andrei Tarkovsky but it needs to be slow to fit the contemplative mood.
I have no idea what some of it about but in art that doesn't matter. Beautifully shot and otherwordly.
