Review of Unbroken (2014) by Richard B — 01 May 2015
Looking back at 2014, there were a ton of films based on true stories and most had great performances but were just average films at best. This film could have been pretty emotional, but I just didn't feel it.
The film was long enough at over 2 hours already, but I feel that they should have filmed some of the parts that they just explained at the end as those scenes would have been pretty moving if not well.
I actually was pretty bored for a lot of the movie even though there were solid performances and solid cinematography, as the film looked great. Overall a decent film that I felt could have been quite a bit better.
