Review of Unbroken (2014) by Xavier B — 15 Jul 2017

The movie hits enough emotional notes to make it worth watching. It isn't an easy movie to watch and at times it is fairly repetitive but as a whole, I am glad I experienced it. It's slower paced than most movies of its kind, but it is compelling and will hit you where it counts.

I enjoyed the direction of the movie and thought the performances were believable and good. While parts of the movie drag and some aspects aren't explored in too much depth, I think it's an inspirational movie that celebrates the power and resilience of the human spirit.
