It never ceases to amaze me that this movie was produced in 1929 and yet still seems very fresh, raw and disturbing even today. It has some of the most remarkable images in movie history. I love anything that gives me nightmares and this definitely fits the bill.
..no matter how much you've read about the "eye" scene it still never fails to shock.
