Surrealism for an entirety of a film just isn't my thing. While the imagery is disturbing and got a reaction out of me (as I'm sure was the intention) I just can't say that I cared for it all that much.
I recognize it's importance as film history, I just don't really appreciate it. Everyone should check out the first minute, though, if they can stomach it.
