Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Private U — 09 Jan 2008
Has a strange aesthetic about it. Can't quite put my finger on it. I would imagine it caused quite a controversy in its day what with the combination of Buñuel and Dali's surreal visions of death, sexual fetishes, ants and severed limbs.
It's hard to describe a surreal film as it can have multiple meanings, but do check out this film, it's unforgettable.
