Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Paul P — 24 Oct 2010
You can't help but appreciate the film. It didn't kick open doors, Bunuel and Dali practically built them with 'An Andalusian Dog'. Finding out that Bunuel said there is no real meaning to it hurts the detective in us all but it adds to the importance of this film being made.
Some of the scenes still hold shock value over 80 years after its release and to be honest I have to applaud that.
