Review of Un Chien Andalou (1929) by Alexandre L — 19 Nov 2010
Ok. First of all, I've never been into those films admired for their "artistic" qualities. Like this or 2001: A Space Odyssey for instance. A movie is supposed to be a cross between a novel (storytelling) and a painting (visual art), not just a single one of them, they should be combined when it comes to filmmaking.
Now this overhyped UN CHIEN ANDALOU is basically random clips with no relation whatsoever to each other, some shocking, others not. Call it impressive if you will, but I won't.
