Review of Udaan (2010) by Gourab K — 16 Sep 2010
One of the best hindi movie I've ever seen in a while. Themes of youth, breaking free and ultimately of 'Udaan' has been sincerely portrayed by the plot and the characters. Ronit Roy as the menacing father surprises with his strong performance contrary to what we've seen of him in the small screen, where he's clearly wasting time.
Newcomer Rajat is very restraint and convincing, definitely showing a lot of promise in his acting. The film has a brisk pace and the refined direction does justice to the script.
