I really dig this: a creepy noir with a killer cast and just an all-round gory "romp". Watch it if you haven't yet. It's worth it. Oh, and screw the official review. The lead character is STUCK in a godforsaken town he cannot seem to escape SO the fact that it starts "dragging" in the middle just adds to the theme in the same way that vultures slooooooowly circling a dying animal would add to an overwhelming sense of impending doom for the poor creature.
If you catch my drift. Plus, the soundtrack rules.
