Review of Two Weeks Notice (2002) by Mike L — 27 Aug 2012
Its watchable, but just barely as the movie is banking solely on you liking the actors not the characters. This is because the characters are essentially Donald Trump and Gloria Allred, not two people nor two groups of people that I put high on the likeability scale.
So you have Grant play a bumbling, womanizing real-estate developer and Bullock as a twitchy, humanitarian lawyer and hope that the audience likes both of them cause their characters are not that likable, they are not put into positions that we like, and we know how the movie ends.
But Grant is likable in a goofy way and Bullock is charming so in the end it is passable.
