Not as good as the singular Women of the Night (what is???) but damn fine in its own right. The gorgeous carnival blackout proves King's in it for the abstraction rather than the (yawn) narrative. And I love how they go dancing (in a CAVERNOUS juke joint) after dude's dog dies.
Best line: "I'm going to buy you breakfast, asshole.".
