I don't like Joaquin Phoenix. Honestly I couldn't figure out if he was playing a mentally retarded person or not, I think it was his speech.

This was a weird movie that was difficult to watch. There was an element of suspense that is difficult to explain. It was difficult to follow the feelings of the main character, for someone struggling emotionally he sure seemed to move quickly with not just one but two women...not very realistic.
