Review of Two Lovers (1928) by Enrique V — 23 Jan 2010
It's a pity that Joaquin Phoenix has quit acting, because he is one of the finest in Hollywood. His skills are on display in his sensitive portrayal of Leonard, a character who succeeds in eliciting immense empathy from the viewer, who is as torn and tensed about his situation as he is.
A great watch.
