Review of Two Lovers (1928) by Kristin R — 11 Dec 2011
While this movie was beautifully acted and Phoenix was, as always, masterful as a bi-polar yet extremely earnest man, this could not really save the movie from being relegated to the boring completely pointless 'love' stories.
It also suggests that you should settle for second best and be happy about it, which in my opinion is not how life should be lived. Overall, distinctly average and lacking any entertainment value.
