Review of Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) by Martin A — 10 Jun 2007
A prime example of a director that doesn't treat the audience as idiots. I don't need someone telling me what they are doing every 5 minutes, too many movies suffer from too much dialogue. dark and brooding, there is much more to this than appears on the surface.
one of THE classic b-movies. Oates as the GTO driver is extremely good, Taylor & Wilson look like they have been driving together for most of their lives. we need a uk release on dvd!
