Review of Two-Lane Blacktop (1971) by Nathan C — 23 Mar 2008
Kind of a new Hollywood response to the existentialist Western. The themes are the same: freedom versus connection, with a girl on the line. Interesting to consider The Girl, probably imagined as a feminist icon but still just a prize for the men.
Interesting, with terrible acting.
